Cat BathingBathing your cat may sound like a strange concept as cats have the ability to bathe themselves, however, some breeds of cats have an extremely difficult time keeping themselves at a healthy level of cleanliness. There are few different reasons you should consider having your cat regularly bathed. Long haired cats especially cannot reach or maintain the entirety of their body, leaving them susceptible to debris, dirt, dust and other external substances, as well as the natural buildup of dead skin, dander, and loose hair.
While most cats are not a fan of water, there are some alternatives that we can suggest to you when we give your cat their grooming. The alternatives, such as wipes, can be a great way to ensure that your cat is clean in between the bathing appointments. An added benefit to these wipes (and our bath) is that your cat will come out smelling wonderful! We are careful to only use safe shampoos and wipes. Obviously, cats have their own grooming methods and they love to try and clean themselves of their cleanliness. Because of this, we will be happy to discuss our products with your prior to using anything on your beloved cat. |
